Charles Lindberg DePace

Mr. Charles Lindberg “Chucky Boy” DePace 86, of Hamlet passed away Tuesday September 23, 2014 at Firsthealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Mr. DePace was born on February 13, 1928 to the late Tony and Gladys Beers DePace. Charles served his country in both the Navy and Army Seabee’s before moving to North Carolina with his Professional painting business. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Darla DePace, and six brothers Daniel, James, Anthony, Michael, Samuel, and Alfred. Surviving are his son David DePace, daughters Lisa Cotnoir and Dianna Kusmit, all of CT, seven grandchildren Kyle DePace, Jacqueline DePace, Danielle Baksic, Luc Cotnoir Jr., Ashley Cotnoir, Tyler Kusmit, and Connor Kusmit, seven great grandchildren, brothers Patrick, Nicholis and Carmen DePace, and several nieces and nephews. Charles has lived in NC for the past thirty years. His sister in-law Betty Mae DePace, his niece, Linda Ashworth and her husband Marty have lovingly cared for Charles during his long illness. Megan, Marty Jr., and Matthew Ashworth have held a special place in Charles life. Charles uplifting spirit and great sense of humor will be missed by all.
