James Warren, 69, of Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Grandstrand Regional Medical Center in Myrtle Beach. Mr. Warren was born July 18, 1945 in Pineville, KY, a son of the late Nealy amd Kitty Mills Warren. He had been employed as a District Manager with Shoney’s Restaurants in Eastern North Carolina for 15 years. He was a member of Midway Baptist Church, which he loved dearly, and served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher. Jim’s favorite saying, “Whether I go or stay, I’m a winner either way”, expressed his love and faith in Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by a brother, Boo Warren. Surviving are his wife of 29 years, Mary Frazier Warren of the home; sons, Jerry Chappell (DeDe) and Eddie Warren (Yuliya), all of Myrtle Beach; 6 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; brother, Nealy Warren (Diane) of Dunn, and sisters, Linda Duncan (Kurt) and Pat Goins, all of Kentucky. Graveside services will be held at 4pm Tuesday at Northam Cemetery in Rockingham, NC with Rev. Ray Cribb, Rev. Dennis Smith, and Rev. Ron Cooper officiating.
