Audrey Henderson Ussery

Audrey Henderson Ussery, 83, of Ellerbe, died Friday, October 03, 2008 at Hospice Haven in Rockingham. Mrs. Ussery was born November 24, 1924 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late William R. and Ora Townsend Henderson. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Ellerbe, and was a retired secretary having worked for with the tobacco market, the Internal Revenue Service and Home Federal Savings and Loan. Surviving are her brothers, Samuel L. Henderson and wife Margaret of Jacksonville, NC, Vernon L. Henderson and wife Lucille of Hamlet, 4 nephews and 2 nieces. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at Carter Funeral Home Ellerbe Chapel with Rev. James B. Watson officiating. Interment will follow in Ellerbe Cemetery.
