Phillip Blake Gilliam

Phillip Blake Gilliam, 62, of Cordova, passed away Sunday, October 5, 2014 at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst. Mr. Gilliam was born October 13, 1951 in Richmond County, a son of the late Roy and Ila Blake Gilliam. He had retired from Southern Tool & Die Company. Surviving are children, Chris Lynn of Lexington, Stephanie Lynn of Hamlet, Jonathan Lynn of Leland; 6 grandchildren and brother, Donald Gilliam of Tampa, FL. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Thursday at St. Pauls United Methodist Church with Rev. James Hinson officiating. Interment will follow in Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 11:45 am to 12:45 pm Thursday at St. Pauls United Methodist Church. Memorials may be made to FirstHealth Hospice Foundation, 150 Applecross Rd., Pinehurst, NC 28374.
