Elizabeth Hall Blackwell

Elizabeth Geraldine Hall Blackwell, 65, of Hamlet, passed away Friday, October 3, 2014 at Hospice Haven in Rockingham. Mrs. Blackwell was born February 22, 1949 in Sampson County, a daughter of the late Troy and Charlotte Ann Faircloth Hall. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband Gene Edward Blackwell. Surviving are children, Bobby Faircloth of Rockingham, Mike Faircloth and Scott Faircloth, both of Hamlet; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brothers, Leroy Hall of Clinton, Billy Ray Hall of Florida; sister, Shirley of Florida and her companion Rodney Auten. Funeral services will be held privately.
