Anne English White

Ms. Anne English White, 66, of 104 Blewitt Ave. Rockingham died Friday, October10, 2008, at First Health Moore Regional Hospital. Ms. White was born November 8, 1941, in Scotland County, a daughter of the late Melvin and Shirley Robinson English. She worked as a furniture finisher and was a member of New Hope Free Will Baptish Church. She was preceded in death by her son Donald Ray Quick. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, October 14, 2008, at Cater Funeral Home Colonial Chapel with Rev. Johnny Johnson and Pastor Allen Hudson officiating. Entombment will follow in Richmond Memorial Park. Surviving are daughters Debbie Linton of Supply, NC, Shirley Adams of Fayetteville, NC, Teresa Warraix of Red Springs, NC, Rhonda Brooks of Pembroke, NC, Sisters Hattie McNeil of Laurinburg and Dorthy Allen of Hamlet, 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends 6:00 – 8:00 PM Monday, October 13, 2008 at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham.
