Junior Grant Goins

Junior Grant Goins, 79, of Rockingham, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2014 at Hospice Haven in Rockingham. Junior was born April 2, 1935 in Surry County, NC, a son of the late Samuel Grant and Lou Reynolds Goins. He had retired from Brown Moulding and was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Hamilton Goins and a brother, Grover Goins. Surviving are his son Andrew Grant “Andy” Goins (Crystal) of Rockingham; grandchildren, Dylan and Jordan; brothers, Bobby Goins of Denton, Larry Goins and Gary Goins, both of Rockingham and sisters, Delphia Rousch of Candor and Sis Britt of West End. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Thursday in the Colonial Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Morton officiating. Interment will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park. The family will see friends from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham.
