Nita Elizabeth McInnis Little

Nita Elizabeth McInnis Little, 96, of Ellerbe, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2014 at her home. Mrs. Little was born November 15, 1918 in Hoke County, a daughter of the late Sandy and Elizabeth McInnis. She was a longtime member of Jones Springs United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir and was a member of the WMU. She retired from Samarcand Manor as a cosmetology instructor. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Hadley Little. Surviving are her son, Tommy Little of the home, a sister Maxine Barnhardt of Hickory and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Saturday at Jones Springs United Methodist Church with Rev. Dena White officiating. Interment will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park in Rockingham. The family will see friends from 6 to 8 pm Friday at Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe and at other times at the home.
