Marshall Neil McIntyre, 70, of 1926 Parker Lane, Rockingham, died Saturday, November 1, 2008 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Mr. McIntyre was born January 16, 1938 in Richmond County, a son of the Onnie Webb McIntyre Parker and the late Marshall Smith McIntyre. He was an active member of Roberdel Baptist Church and following his retirement from Sara Lee Hosiery had worked with Auto Zone. Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Doris Moore McIntyre of the home, daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Tommy White of Ellerbe, grandchildren, Hannah and Hayley White of Ellerbe, mother, Onnie W. Parker of Rockingham, sisters, Dorothy Watts of Rockingham, Joyce Bass of Carthage, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday at Roberdel Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Smith and Rev. Dr. Jim Brown officiating. Interment will follow in Eastside Cemetery. The family will see friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Monday at Roberdel Baptist Church and at other times at the home on Parker Lane.
