Katie Robbins

Mrs. Katie Lee Jordan Robbins passed away Tuesday, November 4th. Surviving are her children, Duane Robbins (wife Christy), Denise Pittman (husband Steve), and Diane Freeman (husband Mark); her grandchildren, Rebecca Robbins, Jacob Pittman, Jaime Freeman, and Hannah Freeman, and her great grandson, Trevor Freeman. Preceding her in death and greeting her in heaven are her husband, Bennie Robbins, parents, Arthur and Aileen Jordan, and her baby brother, Ralph Jordan. She gladly shared her passion and love of her life with Jesus Christ, with all whom she encountered. She was friend, teacher, confidant, and an inspiration to so many people who counted themselves blessed to have known her. She was a breast cancer survivor and overcame many physical obstacles in her lifetime. She was truly a walking miracle. Visitation will be held at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham on Thursday, November 6th from 6 to 8 pm. At the family’s request, they will not receive visitors at home. Memorial services will be private at the family’s request. Please honor and respect their wishes. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Richmond County, 1119 N. US Hwy 1, Rockingham, NC 28379.
