Mr. Dale Nuttall, 52, of Lady Mary Lane, Rockingham died Friday, November 7, 2008 at First Health Richmond Memorial Hospital in Rockingham. He was born November 15, 1955 in Richmond County, a son of R. G. Nuttall and the late Josephine Jackson Nuttall. Mr. Nuttall was an electrician, having last worked with ESI in Polkton and previous experience with Waverly Mills. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps in Vietnam. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm, Monday, November 10th Mt. Beulah Pentecostal Holiness Church in Rockingham with Rev. Kenneth Baber and Rev. Tim Campbell officiating and eulogies by Bo Grooms, Gerald Mabe, and Allen Nuttall. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with military honors. Surviving in addition to his father, are his wife, Nancy Murphy Brown Nuttall of the home; two sons, Jared Nuttall and Eli Nuttall, both of Sacramento, CA; two daughters, Kerri Tucker and husband Jamie of Thomasville, Angel Wilkins and husband Odell of Maxton; grandchildren, Michael Tucker, Amber and Adrien Wilkins; two brothers, Reginald Chuck Nuttall and wife Donna of Rockingham and Allen Nuttall and wife Wanda of High Point; a sister, Caprice and Jerry Ard of Rockingham; and many nieces and nephews who he loved dearly. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6 to 8 pm at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and at other times at 114 Ellerbe Rd., Rockingham. He never met a stranger and wanted a smile on every face. We, his family, will always love and miss our ‘Big Nut’.
