Bessie Clark Cashwell

Bessie Clark Cashwell, 86, of 110 Wilson Ave, died Friday, November 14, 2008 at Firsthealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Mrs. Cashwell was born March 20, 1922 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Willie and Cordia Wilson Clark. She was a longtime member of East Rockingham Congregational Holiness Church and had retired from Aleo Mfg after 34 years. Her husband, James Robert Cashwell, preceded her in death Surviving are a son, Steve Cashwell of Hamlet, daughters, Barbara Quick of Rockingham, Doris Campbell of Laurel Hill, sister, Ella Billingsley of Rockingham, 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday at Carter Funeral Home Colonial Chapel with Rev. Darrell Hogan and Rev. Gerald Goins officiating. Interment will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park. The family will see friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Saturday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham.
