Etta Gore

Margaret Etta Hogan Gore, 83, of Green Rd., Ellerbe, died Friday, November 14, 2008 at her residence. Mrs Gore was born February 26, 1925, the daughter of John and Ida Hurley Hogan. Mrs. Gore was a homemaker and a member of Pee Dee Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, G.E. Gore. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday, November 17, 2008 at Carter Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donnie Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Bruton Cemetery in Ellerbe. Surviving Mrs. Gore are son, Michael Gore of Swainsboro, GA, daughter Linda Dunn of Ellerbe, brother Billy Hogan of Rockingham, sister, Joyce Gore of Lake City, SC, 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. The family will receive friends Monday 1:00 – 2:00 PM prior to the service at Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Ellerbe.
