Curtis Calvin Brock

Curtis Calvin Brock, 80, of Rockingham, passed away Monday, January 12, 2015 at Hospice Haven. Mr. Brock was born October 18, 1934 in Marshall County, Alabama, a son of the late General Calvin and Beulah Blackmon Brock. He had attended Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and retired from Aleo Manufacturing. He was preceded in death by a wife, Rebecca Viola Albright Brock and an infant son, Curtis C. Brock, Jr.. Surviving are his wife Maggie Elizabeth Wallace Brock; sisters, Ruby Albright of Rockingham and Velma B. Smith of New Hope, AL and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Thursday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Perry Comer officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will see friends from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and at other times at Mrs. Albright’s home, 51 Third Ave. Pee Dee, Rockingham.
