Annie Belle Brigman Lampley

Annie Belle Brigman Lampley, 94, of Wallace, SC, passed away Sunday, February 1, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Lampley was born February 3, 1920 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Sandy Luther and Minnie Lee White Brigman. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, where she had been a Sunday school teacher and had worked with the GA’s and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Dargan “JD” Lampley, 4 brothers and 4 sisters. Surviving are her children, Judy (Darrell) Day of Hamlet, Sidney (Sue Ellen) Lampley of Monroe, Johnny (Frances) Lampley of Garner and Sue (Wayne) Cummings of Wallace, SC; 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Thursday at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Perry Comer officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will see friends from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and at other times at the Cummings home in Wallace, SC.
