Robert Boyce Sherrill

Robert Boyce Sherrill, Sr., 85, of Rockingham, went to his heavenly home, surrounded by family on Wednesday, February 18, 2015. Boyce was a U.S. Army Veteran and served during the Korean war stationed in Panama. He worked at Avondale Mill and as a car carrier for Dieffenbach Chevrolet. He is predeceased by his parents Robert and Maude Sherrill and sister Pat Miller. Surviving are his wife, Bobbi Smith Sherrill of 64 years, son, Robert(Glenda) and daughter Paula Roscoe(Danny) of Rockingham, 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren 2 brothers, and 1 sister. Funeral will be held Saturday February21, 2015 at 2:00 pm with visitation from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm, at Carter Funeral Home, Rockingham. Other times at the home of granddaughter, Toni Maples.
