Turner Staton Bass, Jr.

Turner Staton Bass, Jr., 46, of 2408 Hwy 220 N., Ellerbe died suddenly Thursday, February 2, 2006. Turner was born August 19, 1959 in Greensburg, Pa a son of Catherine Anne McLaughlin Bass and the late Turner Staton Bass. He was the co-owner and operator of Ellerbe Springs Nursery and Landscaping and a member of First United Methodist Church of Ellerbe. Surviving are his wife, Traci Altimus Bass of the home, their son, James Turner ( JT) Bass of the home, his mother, Catherine M. Bass of Ellerbe, and his brothers, John Harris Bass of Ellerbe and William Thomas Bass of Hickory. A service to celebrate the life of Turner Bass, Jr. will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday at First United Methodist Church in Ellerbe with the Rev. Donald Daniels officiating. Inurnment will be private. The family will see friends immediately following the service in the church parlor and at other times at his mothers home 2832 N. US 220 Hwy Ellerbe.
