Christine Hill Price

Sally Christine Hill Price, 88, of 128 East Main St. Ellerbe died Friday, February 03, 2006 at her home. Mrs. Price was born April 20, 1917 in Stewart, VA a daughter of the late George W. and Cora Weddle Hill. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Ellerbe where she had been very active in the Women of the Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Lee Price in 1992, a son James Ronald Price, a sister, Minnie Wright and 2 brothers, Maynard Hill and G.W.Hill Jr. Surviving are her daughters, Carolyn P. Sellers of Ellerbe, Joyce P. Edge of Pinehurst, Patricia P. McGrath of Virginia Beach, Va., a brother, John Hill of Ellerbe, 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday at First Presbyterian Church in Ellerbe with Rev. John B. Watson officiating. Interment will follow in Ellerbe Cemetery. The family will see friends from 7:00 – 9:00 PM Saturday at Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe and at other times at the home on Main St. Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Ellerbe P.
