Mrs. Euna Johnson Williams, 85, of 127 Two Branch Road, Rockingham died Sunday, February 5, 2006 at Rockingham Manor. She was born May 11, 1920 in Chesterfield Co., SC, a daughter of the late Cora Ellis and Clarence Johnson. Mrs. Williams was a member of Maple Street Free Will Baptist Church, was employed as a seamstress in textiles and retired with Gilead Manufacturing. Mrs. Williams loved gardening and making quilts. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 pm Thursday, February 9th in the chapel of Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham with Rev. Ray Cribb officiating. Interment will follow in Richmond Memorial Park. Surviving are; a daughter, Yvonne W. Singletary and husband Ronald of Rockingham; two sons, Tony Williams and wife Betsy of Charlotte and Randy Williams and wife Jean of Rogersville, TN; grandchildren, Lynn Hughes and husband Rodger, Jeff Singletary and wife Becky, Sean Williams and wife Edie, David Williams, Tim Williams and wife Bobbie, Kristie Lambries and husband Terry, Amy Yencho and husband Joe, and Josh Williams and wife Renee; and sixteen great grandchildren. Mrs., Williams was preceded in death by her husband, Donald F. Williams, a son, Danny Williams, a grandson, Dean Singletary, and a great grand daughter, Kylie Williams.
