Bobbie Jean Paschal Caulder

Bobbie Jean Paschal Caulder, 79, of Hamlet, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2015 at her home. A native of Richmond County, she was the owner of S&B Grocery that was located on HWY 74 East. Along with owning the grocery, she worked at the Hamlet Gin and the Seaboard Restaurant. She was preceded by her huband; Sim Caulder, Jr. and a son; Sim Caulder III. She is survived by daughters; Lila Denise Hitcho (Andy) of Florida and Hattie Caulder Smith (Randy) of Raleigh, grandchildren; John Pait (April), James “Willie” Pait, Sheridan Ashley Smith Garrison (Robert), Erin Smith, great grandchildren; Nathan Pait, Madison Pait and Sadie Garrison. Funeral services will be held Thursday 3pm at Carter Funeral Home Colonial Chapel with Rev. June Grant officiating. Interment will follow at Richmond County Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 1:45-2:45pm at Carter Funeral Home. Memorials may be made in memory of Mrs. Caulder to Joy Freewill Baptist Church, 864 NC HWY 177 Hamlet, NC 28345.
