Roberta Looman

Roberta Anne Looman, 59, of 110 Five Points Road, Rockingham died Thursday, December 18, 2008 at First Health Richmond Memorial Hospital in Rockingham. She was born May 12, 1949 in Altoona, PA, a daughter of the late Robert and Naomi Law Looman. Mrs. Looman was a homemaker. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 23rd at Sandy Ridge Baptist Church with Rev. Rodney Haywood officiating. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 to 8 pm at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and other times at the home. Surviving are four sons, Jimmy Murphy, Bobby Mauk, Michael Murphy and Eddie Murphy, all of Rockingham; stepchildren, David Mowry of Pennsylvania and Brenda Malzer of Laurel Hill; a sister, Tracey Morrow of Gastonia; a brother, Keith Law of South Carolina; and twelve grandchildren.
