Lillian Cooper

Mrs. Lillian Greene Cooper, 95, of 321 Minturn Ave., Hamlet died Monday, December 22nd at Britthaven of Hamlet. She was born November 6, 1913 in Yancey County, a daughter of the late George and Cora Angel Greene. Mrs. Cooper was a homemaker and a long time resident of Yancey County. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Friday, December 26th in the chapel of Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham with Father John Starczewski officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be 1:00 pm Saturday in the McIntosh Family Cemetery in Burnsville, NC. Surviving are a daughter, Gayla Cooper Eichorn and husband John of Hamlet; and grandson, John Charles Eichorn of Charlotte. Mrs. Cooper was preceded in death by her husband, Charles J.
