Warren Walter Wise

Walter Warren Wise, 64, of Ellerbe, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2015 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Mr. Wise was born December 30, 1950 in Lancaster, PA, a son of the late Raymond Wilbert Wise and Emma Jumbelick Wise Moser. He had served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He was a life member of VFW Post 1690 in Lancaster, PA and had retired from the Inspection Department of Armstrong World Industries. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Raymond Wise, Jr. and Ronald Moser and a sister, Sandy Moser. Surviving are his wife of 34 years, Cheryl Comegys Wise of the home; son, Michael Wise of Ephratha, PA; brothers, Larry Wise (Cindy) of New Providence, PA, Kenneth Moser (Juanita) of Sunbury, PA ;sisters, Carole Faris of Port Orange, FL and Karen Godfrey (Alan) of Sunbury, PA; mother-in-law, Eva Comegys of Chestertown, MD; brothers-in-law, Robert Comegys(Libbie) of Ocala, FL, Zachary Comegys (Tracy) of Ocala, FL, V. Leroy Comegys (Linda) of Sudlersville, MD; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Pearson of Millington, MD, Donna Pearson (George) of Sudlersville, MD, Dorothy Comegys of Sudlersville, MD and numerous nieces and nephews.. Funeral services will be at Noon Wednesday in the Andrew T. Scheid Funeral Chapel, Millersville, PA. Interment will follow in Conestoga Memorial Park.
