Ursula Elliott

Mrs. Ursula Annemarie Elliott, 85, of 110 John Elliott Road, Rockingham died Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at First Health Richmond Memorial Hospital. She was born July 3, 1923 in Berlin, Germany, a daughter of the late Carl and Louise Toegel. Mrs. Elliott was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hamlet and retired with thirty years of service at Sara Lee. She attended the Letta School of Fashion in Germany. Mrs. Elliott became a United States citizen on June 6, 1955. Funeral services will be conducted graveside 11:00 am Saturday, January 3, 2009 at Eastside Cemetery in Rockingham. The family will visit with friends following the service. Surviving is her son, John Elliott of Rockingham; sisters-in-law, Helen Elliott and Elizabeth Jacovy and husband Arthur, all of Rockingham; and her dog, Missy. Mrs. Elliott was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Adam Elliott and a sister, Lelo Toegel. Memorials may be made to Richmond County Humane Society, 529 W.
