Thomas Moody Shepard

Thomas Moody Shepard, 67, of Albemarle, passed away Monday, April 27, 2015 at his home. Mr. Shepard was born April 8, 1948 in Richmond County, a son of the late Tom and Gracie Thompson Shepard. He had been employed as a supervisor with Wiscassett Mills and as a truck driver. Surviving are his children, Robin Rainwater of Rockingham, Tommy Shepard of Virginia Beach, VA; 3 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and a sister, Alice Suggs of Rockingham. Graveside services will be held at 1 pm Thursday at Clarks Grove Primitive Baptist Church in Stanfield with Rev. Ray Suggs officiating. The family will see friends following the service.
