Betty Aycock Smith

Betty Lee Aycock Smith, 68, of Rockingham, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Smith was born, October 26, 1946 in Durham County, a daughter of the late Theodore and Naomi Mooney Aycock. She was a homemaker. Survivors are her sons Jimmy Smith (Allison) and Bobby Smith both of Rockingham, grandchildren Taylor Smith, Patrick Smith and Jake Smith, niece Sandra Nunn and nephew Dwayne Pitchford all of Rockingham. A memorial service will be held at Carter Funeral Home Colonial Chapel on Wednesday at 2pm. Visitation will be held at Carter Funeral Home on Wednesday from 12:45 – 1:45pm.
