Barbara Wilson Eaves

Barbara Wilson Eaves, 75, of Cordova, passed away Friday, May 29, 2015 at Sandhills Regional Medical Center in Hamlet. Mrs. Eaves was born December 27, 1939 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Woodrow Wilson and Dorothy Stacy Wilson Britt. She had retired from Sara Lee Manufacturing after 39 years of service. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Garside Eaves and sister, Doris W. Jacobs. Surviving are children, Tony Eaves of Rockingham, Debra Pouliot of Ft. Myers, Fl, Christi Bailey of Lexington; grandchildren, Bobby Eaves, Brook Wilson, Kelly Monroe, T.J. Eaves, Candice Bailey, Landry Bailey, Victoria Bailey; 9 great grandchildren and half sister, Phyllis W. Cassidy of Wilmington. Funeral services will be at 2pm Sunday in the Colonial Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Joe B. Wilkes, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Eastside Cemetery. The family will see friends from 6 to 8 pm Saturday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and at other times at the home.
