Estelle Godfrey Wright

Mrs. Estelle Godfrey Wright 93, of 326 Bowman Rd. Candor formally of Ellerbe died January 10, 2009 at Sandy Ridge Homes of Candor. She was a homemaker and was a member of 1st Baptist Church of Ellerbe. She was preceded in death by her husband James R. Wright and one son David Wright. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January, 12, 2009 at The Carter Funeral Home Chapel of Ellerbe with the Rev. Richard Stanford and Rev. Tommy Haynes officiating. Interment will follow at Chappell Cemetery. Mrs. Wright is survived by her son Royle Wright and wife Kathy of Ellerbe, one daughter Ann Suggs and husband Max of Troy, one sister Margaret Shephard of Norman, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and at other time at her son’s home at 236 Clayton Carriker Rd. Memorial may be made to N. C.
