Mildred Lewis Todd, 90, of Pittsboro, formerly of Rockingham, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Todd was born July 17, 1924 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Albert Louis and Rebecca Elizabeth Ward Lewis. She was a member of Roberdell United Methodist Church and had attended Maple Street Free Will Baptist Church. For many years she was head bookkeeper with A&P Grocery in Rockingham. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Franklin Todd, a son, Kenneth Andrew Todd and her brothers and sisters. Surviving are her daughters, Wanda Bradshaw of Chapel Hill, Kathy Kirschner of Augusta, Ga; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 2 pm Thursday at Richmond Memorial Park with Rev. Robbie Stewart officiating. The family will see friends from 12:30 to 1:30 pm Thursday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham. Memorials may be made to Chatham County Council on Aging, Meals On Wheels Program, P.O.
