John Michael Gribbins, Sr.

John Michael Gribbins, Sr., 65 of Rockingham, NC passed away September 1, 2015 at Hospice Haven. He was born October 8, 1949 in Richmond county a son of the late William Harry and Colleen Perkins Gribbins. He was an employee of Burlington Industries for 30 years, he loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman. Surviving are: sons, John Michael Gribbins, Jr. of Rockingham, David Alexander Gribbins(Tiffany) of Waxhaw, NC,; Daughter, Kelly Lynette Gribbins(Michael Gene) of Rockingham, Amanda Elizabeth Gribbins(Sara) of Washington; Brothers Ron Gribbins(Isabelle) of Lincolnton, NC, Jeff Gribbins(Lisa) of Greenville, SC; and ten grandchildren. A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, September 5, 2015 in the Colonial Chapel of Carter Funeral Home, Rockingham with the Rev. Steve Goodwin officiating. The Family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
