Emma Gray Pressley Clark

Emma Gray Pressley Clark, 88, of Ellerbe, passed away Friday, October 2, 2015 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill. Mrs. Clark was born December 16, 1926 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Fred V. and Gertrude Dunn Pressley. She retired from Watts Cleaners after 50 years of service. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Horace M. Clark and brothers, Robert G. Pressley and James E. Pressley. Surviving are her daughter, Jennie C. Rollins ( Ronnie) of Ellerbe; grandchildren, Shannon P. Stoner, Christopher D. Stoner and Jennifer K. Stoner and great grandchildren, Talan Stoner, Rylee Decubellis and Will Smittle. A service to celebrate Mrs. Clark’s life will be at 3 pm Sunday at Carter Funeral Home Ellerbe with Rev. Wayne Richardson officiating. The family will see friends following the service and at other times at the Rollins Home. Memorials may be made to the Senior Fund of First Baptist Church Ellerbe or to the Music Ministry of Bethel Baptist Church, Ellerbe.
