Lowell Keith Osborne

Lowell Keith Osborne, 71, of Rockingham, passed away Tuesday, October 06, 2015 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Lowell was born May 4, 1944 in Chicago, Il, a son of the late Horace Adrian and Grace Rimobski Osborne. He had proudly served his country in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. He had retired from IBM and had later taught at Leak Street Alternative School and Anson Middle School. Surviving are his wife, Samantha Covington Osborne of the home; children, Dustin Keith Osborne and Tianna Louise Osborne, both of the home, Lowell Osborne, Jr., Lance Osborne, Lashanda Osborne, and Liaudriann Osborne, all of New York; 8 grandchildren and a sister, Shirley Quattlebaum of Rockingham, NC . A service to celebrate Lowell’s life will be at 2 pm Thursday at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Blackwell officiating. The family will see friends one hour prior to the service at the church and at other times at the home.
