Barbara Barnes Pressley

Barbara Barnes Pressley, 71 of Rockingham, NC passed away at her home on Thursday, November 12, 2015. Barbara was born February 9, 1944 in Baltimore, MD, a daughter of the late Edgar F. and Virginia Smith Barnes. In addition to her parents Barbara was preceded in death by two brothers, James Edward Barnes and Donald Franklin Barnes. Surviving are her daughter, Tammie Pressley Wezyk, of North Charleston, SC; brother, Daniel R. Barnes of Rockingham; sister Sherry Barnes Bailey of Rockingham; and grandchildren, Jeremy Gibson and Charlie Talley. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday at Richmond County Memorial Park with the Rev. Calvin Bean officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 2:45 pm Sunday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and at other times at the home.
