Betty Anderson

Betty R. Anderson, 79, of Hamlet, passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2015 at Richmond Pines Health Care and Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. Anderson was born July 15, 1936 to the late Walter A. and Pearl Goodwin Campbell. She was a member of the Church Of God Of Prophecy in Rockingham. She is preceded by a son Gerald Anderson, Jr., brother Walter (Jack) Campbell, sisters, Louise Cassidy, Kathleen Cassidy and Annie Gray Brigman. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Gerald Anderson, daughters, Joyce Bufano and Doris Keith, 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 10am Tuesday at Carter Funeral Home Colonial Chapel in Rockingham with Pastor Steve Gilmer officiating. Interment will follow at Richmond County Memorial Park. Family will receive friends from 9-10am Tuesday at Carter Funeral Home.
