Gary Lee Taylor

Gary Lee Taylor, 58, of 265 Old Cheraw Highway Rockingham, died Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at his home. Mr. Taylor was born March 17, 1951 in Richmond County, a son of the late Horace and Pearlie Mae Keziah Taylor. He was the former owner of Super Stop. Surviving are his wife, Phyllis Nettles Taylor of the home, sons, James Buie of Asheville, Timothy Buie of Rockingham, Johnathan Buie of Hamlet, daughters, Jennifer Guinn and Taylor Buie of Rockingham, 10 grandchildren, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday in the Colonial Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Hawks officiating. Interment will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park. The family will see friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Friday at Carter Funeral Home and at other times at the home on Old Cheraw Highway. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Scotland County, P.O.
