Betty Sue Workman Paglia

Betty Sue Workman Paglia, 63, of Cordova, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Sandhills Regional Medical Center in Hamlet. Mrs. Paglia was born July 15, 1952 in Wayne County, Michigan, a daughter of the late Eugene and Leatrice Mesler Workman. She was a member of Cordova Baptist Church and had been employed as a nursing assistant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael Tydell. Surviving are her husband, Steven Paglia of the home; children, Audrey Spano of Michigan, Eric Paglia (Debbie) of Cordova, Keith Paglia of Cordova, Brandon Paglia of Hamlet; daughter in law, Charlee Smith of Hamlet; 17 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; sister, Sylvia Ray of Michigan and brother, Jerry Workman of Michigan. Funeral services will be at 2 pm Friday in the Colonial Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in Northam Cemetery.
