Calvin Lee Webb

Calvin Lee Webb, 63, of Rockingham, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at his home. Mr. Webb was born January 11, 1952 in Richmond County, a son of Doris Ussery Webb Thomas and the late John Calvin “Jim” Webb. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and had been employed with Tartan Boat Company and Cameron Morrison Correctional Institution. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a step daughter, Meredith Spivey. Surviving are his wife Vickie Diggs Webb of the home; son, Brian L. Webb (Jackie) of Hamlet; step daughter, Angela Brady of Rockingham; mother and step father, Doris and Bobby Thomas of Rockingham; step mother, Patsy Webb of Ellerbe; grandchildren, Tyler Webb (Kristen) of Mooresville, David Brady of Aberdeen, Morgan Cain of the home, Amber Almas (Keny) of Aberdeen, Cameron Spivey of Rockingham, Mackenzie Webb of Hamlet, Madison Kellum of Fayetteville, Alivia Webb of Hamlet; great grandchild, Wyatt Webb of Mooresville and brother Randy Webb (Sandra) of Rockingham. Funeral services will be at 1 pm Saturday in the Colonial Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Sonny Diggs officiating. Interment will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park. The family will see friends from 6 to 8 pm Friday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and at other times at the home.
