Kay Snead Lynch, 55, of 187 Northam Rd. Rockingham, died Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Duke University Medical Center in Durham. Kay was born June 23, 1953 in Richmond County, a daughter of Robert and Barbara Morrison Snead. She was a member of Cameronian Presbyterian Church, where she served as church pianist and choir director, and was a dental hygenist. Surviving are her husband, Kenneth Lynch of the home, son, Charlie Gilliam and wife Rebecca of Ellerbe, daughters, Bridget Hall and husband Greg of Garner, Kelly Chandler and husband Adam of Greensboro, Jessica Brooks and husband Heath of Rockingham, 2 grandchildren, Brayden Hall and Lukas Gilliam. Also surviving are her parents, Robert and Barbara Snead of Rockingham, brothers, Mike Snead and Robbie Snead, both of Rockingham, sisters, Rose Hawks of Ellerbe and Lori Fields of Mt. Gilead. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday at Cameronian Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow in Northam Cemetery. The family will see friends from 5:00 – 8:00 PM Monday at Cameronian Presbyterian Church and at other times at the home on Northam Rd.
