Janice Kelly Hunsucker

Janice Faye Kelly Hunsucker, 66, of Rockingham passed away Saturday at Hospice Haven surrounded by her family. Janice was born March 4, 1949 in Richmond County a daughter of the late James C. Kelly and Hazel Thomas Kelly. She was retired from Walmart. She was preceded in death by her father; her husband Gary Hunsucker and a daughter Angie Walters. Surviving are her daughter, Leigh Ann Hunsucker; her mother Hazel Grey Thomas Kelly Blue; a brother Jim Kelly; sister Gloria Sheppard; grandchildren, Jessica Lee Walters, Justin Walters; and one great-grandchild. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 19, 2016 in the Colonial Chapel of Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham, with the Rev. Joe Wilkes, Jr., officiating. Burial will follow in old Northam Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12:45 – 1:45 at the funeral home and other times at the home.
