Martha Jane Sellers Leviner

Martha Jane Sellers Leviner, 75, of Rockingham, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Leviner was born September 13, 1940 in Scotland County, NC, a daughter of the late James P. and Beulah Cooper Sellers. She was a member of Mt. Carmel FreeWill Baptist Church and had worked as a CNA with Care Inn and a cook at Village Café. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Leviner. Surviving are her children, George Schaner (Vicky), Mary Swails (Keith), and Martha Hoover (Jackie), all of Rockingham, Paul Heiney (Beth) of Pennsylvania, Liz Warnke (Barry) of Maine; 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 pm Friday at Mt. Carmel FreeWill Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Childers officiating. Interment will follow in Northam Cemetery. The family will see friends from 6 to 8 pm Thursday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham. Memorials may be made to Mt. Carmel FreeWill Baptist Church.
