Norma Osborne Ramey

Norma Jean Osborne Ramey, 69, formerly of Rockingham, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Monroe Rehabilitation Center surrounded by her family. Norma was born on October 8, 1946 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Leroy and Edith Grace Oliver Osborne. She served her country in the U. S. Army and afterwards was a Social Worker serving many people through various agencies. Surviving are her sisters, Betty Osborne Fletcher (William), Rhonda Osborne Chrisawn (Greg); and a grandson. Eric Bellamy. A memorial service will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday, February 9, 2016 in the Colonial Chapel of Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham. Inurnment will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park The family will see friends from 12:45 to 1:45 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
