Jerry Bryant Williams

Ms. Jerry Bryant Williams, 73, of Indian Trail, NC, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2016 at Royal Parks Rehabilitation Center in Matthews, NC. Ms. Williams was born September 10, 1942 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late Lynwood and Roberta Covington Bryant. She was a graduate of Rohanen High School, Class of 1962 and had retired from the Corporate Offices of Belk Stores in Charlotte. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn B. Guinn. Surviving are a step son, Dana Williams, Jr. of Indian Trail; 4 grandchildren; sisters, Sarah Strader (Bryant) of Reidsville, Edna Strader of Greensboro; and brothers, James Bryant (Donna), Bobby Bryant (Diane) and Cecil Bryant, all of Rockingham, Richard Bryant (Carolyn) of Kentucky and Ray Bryant (Kay) of Oak Island. Funeral services will be at 2 pm Wednesday in the Colonial Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Russell Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in Richmond County Memorial Park. The family will see friends from 12:45 to 1:45 pm Wednesday at the funeral home and at other times at 548 Fox Rd. Marston.
