Nancy Pankey Cassidy

Nancy Panky Gerald Cassidy, 66, of 130 Northside Park Dr. Rockingham, died Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at her home. Mrs. Cassidy was born August 22, 1942 in Montgomery County, a daughter of the late Elies and Carrie Lee Parks Pankey. She had been employed with Perdue Industries. Her son, Dennis Gerald and daughter, Denise Gerald, preceded her in death. Surviving are her husband, James Cassidy of the home; son, David Gerald of Rockingham; step sons, Michael Cassidy of Wadesboro, Justin Cassidy of Browns Creek; and 4 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday in the Colonial Chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Richardson officiating. Interment will follow in the Gerald Cemetery. The family will see friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Friday at Carter Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
