Bebe Thacker Dobbins

Bebe Ann Thacker Dobbins, 80, of Rockingham, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at her home. Mrs. Dobbins was born June 2, 1935 in Dorchester, Wise County, Virginia, a daughter of the late Richard Arnim and Dollie Penland Thacker. She was a member of the Christian Jew Foundation and a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Thacker and sisters, Sue Jennings and Judy Dommel. Surviving are her husband, Grady Odell Dobbins of the home; children, Michael Allen Dobbins (Mimi) of Creston, NC and Sherrie Ann Dobbins (Companion, Eric Isaacson) of Rockingham; grandchildren, Krystal Robinson of Pembroke and Richard Robinson of Rockingham; great grandchildren, Taryn Jade, Nolan James, Amiyah Brielle, and Annemarie Brooke; brother, Ray Thacker (Linda) of Flintstone, MD; sisters, Faye O’Conner (Doc) of Hagerstown, MD, Linda Cunningham of Bristol, TN, Theresa Gannaway of Norton, VA; sister in law, Venna Thacker of Big Stone Gap, VA and Brothers in Law, Carroll Jennings of Bristol, TN and Bill Dommel of Germantown, MD. Memorial services will be held privately.
