Wesley Clint Rainwater

Wesley Clint Rainwater, 23, of 155 Entwistle 3rd St. Rockingham, died Thursday, May 14, 2009 in Boone, North Carolina. Clint was born November 2, 1985 in Richmond County, a son of Lee G. and Nancy Moore Rainwater. He was a graduate of Richmond Senior High School and was currently a student at Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute. He had served his country in the United States Marine Corps and attended Trinity Emmanuel Holiness Church. His grandparent, Evander Gerald Rainwater, Ruby Rainwater Hamilton, and Hallie and Eva Moore preceded him in death. Surviving are his parents, Lee and Nancy Rainwater of the home; brothers, Lee M. Rainwater and wife Doreen of Duluth, Ga., Dexter A. Rainwater of Camp Lejuene, NC, Frank J. “Jeremy” Rainwater of Rockingham; sister, Melissa Chanel Rainwater of Rockingham; and a niece, Gabriella K. Rainwater of Duluth, Ga. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at Trinity Emmanuel Holiness Church with Revs. Jerry Hatcher, Mitchell Roller and Brian Clark officiating. Interment will follow in Green Lake Cemetery. The family will see friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Sunday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and at other times at the home on Entwistle 3rd St.
