Janie Sue Lynch Brigman

Janie Sue Lynch Brigman, 82, of Cordova, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Richmond Pines in Hamlet. Mrs. Brigman was born November 12,1933 in Darlington County, SC, a daughter of the late Caleb and Daisy Jernigan Lynch. She had retired from Sandhurst Hosiery, Safie Plant. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Brigman, Jr.; daughter, Vickie Brigman Fuller; brothers, Houston Lynch, Claude Lynch; and sisters, Ruth Teal, Frances Powell, Mary Rogers and Catherine Hollingsworth. Surviving are her son, Lawrence Edward Brigman (Joyce) of Wallace; grandchildren, Edward Brigman, Jr., Scottie Brigman, Tammie Smith, Mark Fuller, Crystal Brigman; 5 great grandchildren and brothers, James Lynch of Hamlet, Johnny Lynch and Ray Lynch, both of Rockingham. Graveside services will be at 11 am Tuesday at Living Waters Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery with Rev. James Croke officiating. The family will see friends from 6 to 8 pm Monday at Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham and at other times at 274 Ledbetter St., Cordova.
