Mary Pauline Humphries Mary Pauline Paxton Humphries, 58, of Rockingham passed away Thursday, May 19, 2016 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital. She was born on May 11, 1958 in Richmond County. She was a member of Sandhills Wesleyan Church and a Financial Specialist with Pinehurst Surgical Clinic and First Health Surgical Clinic in Rockingham. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Paxton and her sister-in-law Wanda Paxton. Surviving are her husband Gerald Humphries; son Wayne(Tiffany) Humphries, Robert(Abigail) Humphries; grandchildren, Taylor and Swade Ford, Kaylee and Levi Speagle; great-grandchildren, Braydon Parson, Aiden Ford, Addison Benoist; her brothers, Larry(Geneva) Paxton, Danny Paxton; sister, Ann(Richard) Brigman; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Sunday at 2:00 pm at Sandhills Wesleyan Church with Pastor Dennis Smith Officiating. Burial will follow in Eastside Cemetery in Rockingham. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Carter Funeral Home and other times at the home.
