Eddie Duane Benton

Eddie Duane Benton, 44, of Raleigh, formerly of Rockingham, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2016 at his home. Eddie was born January 16, 1972 in Richmond County, a son of the late Eddie Daniel Benton and Barbara Jean Blakely Benton Deloach. He was employed with Southern Dermatology in Raleigh. Surviving are his children, Nicholas and Nicole Benton, both of Rockingham; brother, Timothy Benton (Lisa) of Hamlet and sisters, Cheryl Black (James) of Rockingham, Pamela Myers (Alan) of Hamlet and partner, Jack Mullins of Raleigh. A memorial service will be at 7 pm Wednesday in the chapel of Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham with Pastor Marvin Taylor. The family will see friends following the service at the funeral home and at other times at 123 Katie Lane, Rockingham.
