Lauren Wayne Hall

Lauren Wayne Hall, 77, of Rockingham, passed away Tuesday May 31, 2016 at his home. Mr. Hall was born February 13, 1939 in Cordova, NC, a son of the late Coley Edward and Louise Brigman Hall. He had served his country as a Rifleman in the United States Marine Corps and had been employed with Brown and Root Co. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Harward Hall and his sister, Mavis Hall Sellers. Surviving are his children, Bryan Hall and wife Aida of Rockingham, Ronda Hall (Charles Odom) of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; grandchildren, Jonathan Hatcher (Tiffany), Brandon Hatcher (Casey), Stephanie Tapia (Michael), Jodie McQuillan (Michael), Kimberly Burlington (Walt), Ayleen Padilla (Torin), Karina Padilla (CJ), Anahi Aguilar (Cisco) and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10 am Saturday in the Chapel of Carter Funeral Home in Rockingham. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Eastside Cemetery. The family will see friends from 6 to 8 pm Friday at Carter Funeral Home and at other times at Bryan and Aida’s, 380 Midway Rd., Rockingham.
