Nancy Simmons McCormick

Nancy Marie Simmons McCormick, 85, of Ellerbe, passed away Monday, June 13, 2016 at Autumn Care of Biscoe. Mrs. McCormick was born April 18, 1931 in Stokes County, a daughter of the late William James and Bertie Mae Bowman Simmons. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank McCormick and a daughter, Linda McCormick. Surviving are her children, Rick McCormick of Ellerbe, Doug McCormick of Ellerbe, Helen Crepps of Pittsboro; 8 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 1 great grandchild and brothers, Paul Simmons of Candor and Carlo Simmons of Candor. Graveside services will be at 9 am Thursday at Ellerbe Cemetery with Rev. Tim Hawks officiating. The family will see friends following the service at the cemetery.
